William Toler

Jack of All Trades...Master of Jack

Nearly seven years at the same community college will net one an incredible amount of opportunities.

A self-described “media whore,” William Toler has dabbled in almost everything but radio. His independent movie connections include early work with John Kearns, camera work and puppeteering for Jay Tyson, camera for Steve Johnson’s judicial conspiracy “Contempt” and production stills for the Wagner brothers’ “Customer’s Always Right.” From July 2003 to July 2004, he interned on a short-lived morning show “A.M. Scuttlebutt,” performing nearly all pre-production and production activities at one point or another. In addition to these, Toler has also shot his own shorts…and made movies too.

Ink got into his blood back in 2002…and the love for newspapers. He was the first production manager for the now-infamous Campus Communicator (do a Google search, or visit www.neuseriverjunction.org) and later became managing editor. With his layout, photography, and writing skills growing, and the need for an alternate source of news, Toler, along with fellow “Commies” Eric Voliva and Corey Friedman, started the Independent Register.

There’s more to tell…but not enough room to put it so….

Thus, varily, He spoke and sayeth, "Go forth and deliver the NEWZ unto my people." And it was good.

The Many Sides of William Toler

Here's William at Halloween

Look it's Slash! No, it's William again.

Evil Canadian jester, or just normal American jester? You decide.

Don't he look sharp? And slightly scared. Perhaps there were mimes.
